API Radar is a real-time monitoring tool that scans public GitHub commits for accidentally exposed API keys—like OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, and others. Developers often leak credentials without realizing it, and API Radar helps catch those moments as they happen.The platform continuously analyzes newly pushed code, looking for patterns and signatures of API keys. When a leak is detected, the tool logs it in a live dashboard with metadata like repo name, author, commit timestamp, and type of key. This allows users to audit potential breaches, monitor trends, and react quickly before damage occurs.API Radar was built solo as a passion project, with the goal of making infosec more accessible to everyone—from indie hackers to enterprise engineers. It’s part of a growing wave of developer-first tools that put transparency and awareness first.
